Side
view, notice the plastic handles on both side
panels. |

The
other side of the case without the panel. |
The
entire case (except the front panel) is made of anodized
lightweight aluminum and has a nice protective coating.
It's cool to touch and the surface is very smooth.
A door handle is attached to each of the side panels
to make it easier to remove them from the case. Thumb
screws are used on both side panels as a locking device,
and also for all 7 add-on card slots.
The
SkyHawk Eagle comes with a rear cooling fan which
is placed inside the plastic housing and attached
to the inside of the rear end of the case. It draws
cold, fresh air from outside the case in order to
help cool down the entire computer enclosure, and
especially to the CPU itself. Also notice in the above
illustration how the I/O connection cables are neatly
arranged and are nicely labeled.

On
a side note, the rear fan housing can be detached
by two screws at the back. The fan that comes with
the case draws power from a standard 4pin molex connector.
