A side view of the front door.

One of the most interesting feature of the SkyHawk Eagle PSR-5606 is the motorized sliding door. It appears to be a clever solution to hide your 5.25" drives which may not match with the color of your aluminum case.

The sliding door button

The sliding door is powered by a motor hidden inside of the case, and an ATX motherboard power adapter. The sliding door itself, like the rest of the case, is applied with a nice finish as you can see the reflections from the above picture.

A zoomed view of the front panel.

This is what it looks like under room lighting. We find it absolutely gorgeous.

The front panel is one of the most distinctive feature in the SkyHawk Eagle PSR-5606. It is made up of a chromed circle with an LCD display in the middle, backlit in blue LED lights. The power button and reset buttons are transparent and are backlit the same way. As you can see from the above illustrations, they look absolutely beautiful.

The LCD display features the following modes: time, temperature in °C and °F, power, and drive activity which can be interchanged by pressing the forward/backward buttons.

Below the LCD display resides several I/O ports including microphone, headphone, 2 USB 2.0, and a firewire jack. All that are connected to cables that are nicely labeled as you can see later in this review.
