I've always been very critical of the mouse I use because I have my right hand on my mouse more than anything else throughout the day. How well my moues pointer moves directly affects my work efficiency, and I believe that applys to most pepole who work with computers as well. Accuracy is especially important to gamers when every pixel counts in terms of aiming.

The EverGlide Giganta is surely huge... It measures 11.5" x 9.5", definitely big enough for any everyday computer users. The transparent EverGlide Giganta Optical Pads are made of a polystyrene thermoplastic, which feels harder than normal acrylic. The pad is so hard that it's virtually impossible to bend. Let's take a closer look to its suraface below.

The surface of the Giganta Optical feels pretty much like frosted glass as you can see from the images on the left. That surface is a applied with a Patent Pending FineCell® texture which is consistent throughout the pad. The edges are rounded and it allows you to slide the mouse onto this relatively thick mousepad. We have taken two images of the surface from different angles to give you a better look.

On the back of te mouse pad, there are 5 plastic feet which secures the mouse pad on your desk without ever sliding around. They also support the mouse pad very well.

I tried my my Logitech Optical mouse on the Giganta Optical, and the mouse pointer moves around with rather interesting feeling. It feels like a bumpy ride and it is a little noisy. But generally, the mouse stops faster and is more responsive than before. But wait, we still haven't applied the Mouse skatez that is recommended by EverGlide..
