Logitech® Pocket Digital™
MSRP: $129.95

My first
impression with the Logitech® Pocket Digital™
was “Wow!” I decided that very moment
that I just had to give it a try. Before we see what
it really can do, let’s take a look at its stats.
•
Shoot up to 52 photos at a time with 1.3-megapixel
resolution*
• See both bright lights and dim details with
Autobrite™ technology
• Download the images to your PC with a single
click
• Enough battery life to power hundreds of pictures
between full recharges
• USB-compatibility for easy PC connectivity
The
packaging is nicely done, and all the accessories
you need is supplied. The camera is internally powered,
and all you need to transfer data and recharge it
is a USB cable which is included in the package. The
package also comes with a driver CD, and an instruction
booklet.
The most impressive feature of this camera is obviously
its compact size. It’s roughly as large as a
credit card, thin as a CD jewel case, and very lightweight.
It is surprisingly sturdy with its aluminum body despite
its small footprint. The camera is cleverly designed
such that the lens is revealed by stretching the camera,
which turns the camera on at the same time.
There
are a total of three buttons on the camera’s
body, and they enable you to take pictures, delete
pictures, switch between two resolution modes, turn
sound on/off, and set a timer. The only button you
need to push to take a picture is the shoot button
up top. The camera powers up much faster than most
digital cameras, which truly allows you to “point
and shoot”.
