Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound
Card
It
wasn't too long ago when most PC users were using
those archaic, generic ISA sound cards. I still remember
very well how people were amazed with the MIDI background
music all those webpages were making. Before we knew
it, audio technology took several huge leaps and brought
us to this new age of digital music and surround sound.
Today, DVD drives are widely found in PCs and it just
seems logical for PCs to support more than 2 speakers
and a subwoofer. To be able to utilize the new 4.1
or even 5.1 speaker technology, you would need a sound
card that is capable to support it. Santa Cruz is
Turtle Beach's answer to this demand.
The
Santa Cruz supports a array of different output formats
including the traditional 2 speaker mode, 4 speaker
configuration, and 5.1 (6 speaker) configuration.
On top of that, its digital/analog versa jack allows
a variety of different configurations depending on
the devices you need to hook up with. Turtle Beach's
official site has extensive
information on this.
